We have done a lot for Petnjica in the previous period, Rafet Husović, the president of the Bosniak Party (BS), said today that he was in Petnjica today visiting the municipal committee of the party, in order to prepare and organize the local elections scheduled for November 26, 2017.
"We fought for the municipality to gain independence and autonomy. This was primarily part of our political program, which was successfully implemented," Husović said.
He pointed out that the council list of the Bosniak Party is composed mainly of young people, that the quota for ladies has been fully respected, and that he expects the citizens of the municipality of Petnjica to give great support to the "Dignified for Petnjica" list.
Husović also emphasized that through the staff of BS in government bodies, they significantly helped Petnjica get all the necessary institutions that will serve as a service to citizens.
"I expect that our diaspora will also support our plan and program. They are an extremely important potential for the municipality of Bihor. The cooperation of the future local government, government institutions and emigrants must be on a higher level in order to realize many important projects," said Husović.
He said that he expects an increase in the support of BS in this municipality, and more councilor mandates in the local parliament so that the Bosniak Party would be an indispensable link in the formation of the future municipal government.
"These are elections of extreme importance for Petnjica. It is important that the citizens support us in as many numbers as possible so that this will be reflected in the strengthening of future economic and investment activities in this municipality," Husović pointed out.
He concluded that the presidency of the Bosniak party fully supported the decisions of the municipal board in Petnjica and strongly supported the board list that will be a good representative of the Bosniak people in that municipality.
The visit to the municipal board was also attended by Ervin Ibrahimović, BS MP and coordinator for Petnjica.
