New and more beautiful Sutomore" continued its Cultural Calendar for Sutomore in 2017 with an exhibition of paintings by the famous Montenegrin painter Naod Zorić, which was opened the night before last in the restaurant "Izvor". Opening the exhibition, Milun Lutovac, MSc, said that "it is difficult to talk about the works of friends", stressing that contact with Zoric's paintings is always a journey to a new spiritual adventure.
"What is most attractive in creativity is the personality of the artist himself. Art serves to indicate the uniqueness of some sensibility, which, like the one that brought us together and washed us anew with its strength and innovation, is the most precious feature of every good and thoughtful artistic conception. Through his works, who knows which way, he tells us - let's read nature; let's realize our feelings through aesthetics that will be both personal and traditional at the same time", Lutovac pointed out.
The artist told "Vijesti" that for this occasion he made a small cross-section of his 20-year career "because it is not possible to exhibit a large number of paintings here". Of the 20 works, nine are drawings and the rest are oil on canvas. "There are pictures that were taken in Bar and I wanted to connect them all, create a story with an emotional character because I lived here for 13 years," said Zorić.
About his works, Lutovac wrote that the contrasts "were not given in black and white, but as a threshold of color", and that in the exhibited works "the more harmonious the color becomes, the more precise the drawing becomes".
"The elegance of the composition reveals the soul of the artist. Art is religion. A true artist feels the joy of being able to reveal to others his delight in front of nature's masterpiece - Naod is like that. However, everything would have been in vain if Naod hadn't revealed the secret in his early period that his best teachers were his paintings and if he hadn't summoned a well-organizing mind as an honest interlocutor, because the artistic form is only perfect when it corresponds to the character and size of the depicted subject" , assessed Lutovac.
At the same time, an international painter's colony was opened in "Izvor", which was also launched this year by the NGO "Novo i ljepša Sutomore". In addition to coach Mijodrag Pekić Pek, participants include Snežana Manasić from Belgrade, Zoran Suvajac Zograf from Banja Luka, Brunilda Lekilda from Shkodër and Goran Ćetković from Sutomore. The visitors, among whom was the president of the municipality Dr. Zoran Srzentić, were greeted in front of the host family by Aleksandar Petrović, and in front of the NGO Vlado Lukšić, Slobodanka Hrvatin and Tijana Vukčević. Guitarist Ivan Šćekić performed in the program.
