Filip Radović repeated his success from two years ago at the European Championship in Vejle, Denmark - the Montenegrin Paralympian won bronze at the European Championship for People with Disabilities in Laško, Slovenia, in the S10 category, in which 23 table tennis players were registered.
Our table tennis player did not manage to go one step further, because today in the semi-finals he was defeated by the first favorite of the championship, officially the best player in the world, Polish Patrik Czainowski with 3:0 (11:2, 11:8, 12:10).
Earlier today, Radović secured a bronze medal by reaching the semi-finals, the second in the history of Montenegrin Paralympic table tennis, as he defeated Briton Kim Dable 3:1 (11:1, 7:11, 12:10, 11:8) in the quarterfinals.
Radović qualified for the quarter-finals of the EP as the first place in Group D, in which he recorded all three triumphs.
He defeated Macedonian Straško Kočevski 3:0 (11:4, 11:7, 11:3), Czech Ivan Karabec 3:2 (11:8, 11:5, 5:11, 8:11, 11:7) and Irishman Anthony Davis 3:1 (11:6, 12:14, 11:6, 11:8).
The appearance in Laško was Radović's fourth participation in the European championships.
