Montenegrin Paralympian Filip Radović will play in group D at the European table tennis championship in Laško, Slovenia, with Czech Ivan Karabec, Irishman Anthony Davis and Straško Kocevski from Macedonia, it was decided by draw today.
From tomorrow to Sunday, Laško will host the European table tennis championship for people with disabilities, and Radović will perform for the fourth time at the European championship, in the S10 category, in which 23 table tennis players are registered.
In Laško, Filip defends the bronze medal, the first in the history of Montenegrin Paralympics, won in Vejle, Denmark, in 2015.
In the first round, tomorrow at 13.30:21.45 p.m., Radović will play against Kocevski, on the same day he meets with Karabeca (16.30:XNUMX p.m.), a medalist from the most important competitions, while he plays Davis on Friday at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
"I can say that I am satisfied with the draw. I have the quality to fulfill the goal and pass the group stage, and then everything is possible. I will do my best," said Radović.
The winner of the group will win a direct place in the quarterfinals, while the runner-up will try to secure a place among the eight best through the round of XNUMX.
