Graceland, the famous mansion of the "King of Rock" Elvis Presley, will remain in the family even after the death of his only child, Lisa Marie Presley.
The XNUMX-year-old singer died last Sunday due to heart problems.
Her three daughters, Riley, Harper i Finley, will inherit the Tennessee estate, according to a family spokesperson.
Lisa Marie Presley became the sole heir to Graceland, a large estate with a mansion of 1.626 square meters in Memphis, when she turned 25 years old.
The mansion, which was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2006, opened to the public as a museum in 1982, five years after Elvis Presley's death.
Graceland is visited by more than 600.000 people each year and is second only to the White House as the most visited home in the United States, according to the estate's website.
A Graceland representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether the property would remain open to the public. Last week, a family representative said Lisa Marie would be buried near her father and late son on the property.
"Lisa Marie's final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son Ben," the family said.
Benjamin Kio, the son of Lisa Marie, killed himself in August 2020 when he was only 27 years old.
A few days before his death, on January 8, Lisa Marie visited Graceland to celebrate Elvis' 88th birthday.
When it was announced that she had died, many came outside the gates of Graceland to leave flowers and light candles in her honor.
