Operosa Montenegro Opera Festival - the only opera festival in Montenegro, which every year, for five days, gathers international opera artists and experts, young talents, as well as guests from all over the world, will be opened tonight with the concert "Montenegro Diva" at the fortress of Forte Mare at 21 an hour. Three great sopranos Olivera Tičević, Marijana Šovran and Milica Milanović will perform together with the guest string orchestra "Rocher" from Serbia.
The artistic director and founder of the festival, Katerina Hataja, reminded that "Operosa" has been promoting young talents for 11 years and announced the festival's program, the central event of which will be the premiere of the opera "Iolanta" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, which brought together artists from Italy, Austria, Great Britain, and Russia , Ukraine, Egypt, Serbia and Bulgaria.
Conductor Eraldo Salmeiri, for whom this is the third production for "Operosa", believes that Tchaikovsky's music is very close to the taste of the audience and the performers themselves.
Director Ashli Din is collaborating with "Operosa" for the first time and is grateful that he was given the opportunity to do the opera "Jolanta", which can be said to be like a fairy tale.
The premiere of the opera Jolanta will be held on August 25, and as part of the Operosa, there will also be a ballet-opera performance and "A moment for classics in the old town" on Belavista square, and the final gala concert will be performed by Jan Wierzba, conductor, Basma Edrees, violin and The Operosa Opera Festival Orchestra will be held on August 27 on the summer stage of the Kanli Tower.
