With the "Music Forces United" concert, within the sixteenth KotorArt Don Branko Days of Music, the audience was presented last night by two jazz pianists - Vasil Hadžimanov from Serbia and Matija Dedić from Croatia and two golden vocalists, celebrated divas of entertainment and jazz music "ex-yu". space, Bisera Veletanlić and Gabi Novak.
Hadžimanov and Dedić played original compositions for the audience, both solo and in duet, while Gabi and Bisera performed five songs each, mostly compositions by Arsen Dedić and Kornelija Kovač, KotorArt said.
"Gabi and Bisera, synonyms of fun music and jazz of that period, last night in Kotor revived the golden sixties of the last century. With the piano accompaniment of the best jazz pianists of the region, Vasil and Matija, Gabi, among other things, emotionally sang "I remember only happy days", and on encore, she performed "Wine and guitars". Bisera reminded the audience what kind of vocalist she is with the songs "My funny Valentine", "Zlatni dan", and after a long applause from the audience, she performed "Milo moje" as an encore. The audience rose to its feet and greeted the artists with applause for a long time," said the organizers of the event.
The concert ended the sixteenth Don Branko Days of Music, as well as the program of KotorArt as a whole.
