The Budva police arrested Jasmin Gashi (21) from Podgorica on suspicion of beating up Serbian citizen Vuk Smiljanić two nights ago in Rafailovići. He is charged with the criminal offense of inflicting grievous bodily harm, because he punched Smiljanić in the head and broke his nose.
The conflict between the young men, as we know, was caused by a mutual girlfriend, who first had fun with Gashi, and then began a relationship with Smiljanić. This was also the reason for the intolerance between the guys, which first started on Facebook. They began to threaten each other, and Smiljanić told Gashi that when he comes to Montenegro for his summer vacation, they will meet and settle the scores. As Gaši is seasonally employed in Pržno, the young men found themselves quite by chance in Rafailovići, where Gaši recognized Smiljanić, who was out at night.
First, an argument started between the young men, and then a fierce fight followed.
The case was reported to the police, who immediately detained the actors of the incident. The inspectors filed a criminal complaint against Gashi, who will be brought before the primary state prosecutor in Kotor today.
