In the heart of Podgorica, on the gastronomic map that pulses with various tastes and aromas, one place stands out as a real treat for all burger lovers - Fajnl Tač. Conceived from the love of food and inspired by a journey through the world of taste, this restaurant has become the epicenter of the gastronomic scene in Podgorica in a short time. Its creator, Nenad Knežević Knez, a prominent pop musician from our country, on the occasion of May 28 - International Burger Day, talks about his culinary beginnings, his love for gastronomy and his plans for the future.
The story of Final Touch begins in New York ten years ago, when Knez tried the famous smash burger for the first time, which won him over completely. That one "spectacle of taste", as Knez says, it remained engraved in his memory and became the inspiration for opening a restaurant that will bring that unique taste to his native Podgorica. "Smash burgers are for me the symbol of perfection in one bite. Each piece of meat carefully pressed, enriched with juicy pieces of cheese, and all wrapped in a soft French brioche bun - it's a real paradise for all the senses. I've always believed that food not only makes us nourishes, but also connects us with cultures and experiences around the world. The Final Touch is my way of combining the spirit of abroad with our traditional tastes, and I'm happy to be able to share that joy with all our fellow citizens." pointed out the Prince.
For Knez, the love of gastronomy is not just a passing trend, but a deep-seated feeling dating back to his school days. As a student, faced with the monotony of cafeteria food, he decided to take control of the pot and the spoon. "My relationship with food gradually developed, since I started cooking out of pure necessity. But, from that necessity, love was born. As a true gourmet and hedonist, over the years I explored various cuisines and gradually gained the culinary experience that I have today I realized that it was something I enjoyed and that inspired me to try my hand at entrepreneurship and create my own brand." said the Prince.
When it came time to give his brand a name, Knez had no doubts. "When I participated in the reality show Survivor, we had very little food and what was available to us was mostly rice, a food that is quite impersonal. Every bite was like our last, and every meal became a little ritual. That's why I always tried to find spices that would make even a little bit of food even tastier. And then, at the moment when I would add that spice, I would say - And now, my Final Touch! It became the mantra of my culinary style and I knew that it was the only name that came to mind when I decided to open a restaurant." explains the Prince.
Glovo, an international platform for the delivery of food and goods that has been facilitating the daily functioning of its users in Montenegro for three years, has joined the road as a success, in support of the Knez. The fact that Final Touch is one of the leaders on the Glovo app speaks of the restaurant's popularity, but also of the added value that this platform brings, facilitating access to delicious meals for its users throughout the city. "Glovo is not only a food delivery app, but also a symbol of a modern lifestyle where speed is not a compromise for quality. As such, it has become an extended arm of our kitchen and we try to always listen to their suggestions and together create the best possible experience for our guests . In this sense, our relationship with Glov is not only a partnership, but an essential one, which is clearly visible through our continuous success." pointed out the Prince.
When it comes to the future of this Montenegrin brand, Knez reveals his hopes and plans. "Final Touch is currently located in two central locations in the capital and that in itself is a great success. We expect that interest in our dishes will continue to grow, and we are ready to respond to that demand in the time ahead. We hope that the future will also bring expansion to new locations and the introduction of new, innovative dishes that will set us apart even more as a gastronomic destination in Montenegro." concluded the Prince.
