The police arrested MR Baranin (40) on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
"On July 26.07.2017, 40, the officials of the Department for the fight against drugs and the CB Bar acted according to operational knowledge, in coordination and according to the order of the state prosecutor in the High State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, and according to the previously obtained order of the investigating judge of the High Court in Podgorica, searched the apartment and other premises used by MR (31) from Bar. On that occasion, police officers found and confiscated: 9,4 PVC packages containing a white powdery substance suspected to be the narcotic drug cocaine, total weight 18 grams, a plastic box containing a light brown powdery substance suspected to be heroin with a total weight of about 41 grams, 60 Buprenophin tablets in pharmaceutical packaging, a digital scale for precise measurement, an improvised hand-made dispenser and XNUMX euros in cash were also found which is suspected to have been acquired through the sale of narcotic drugs," the police statement said.
It is added that the criminal investigation points to the suspicion that MR was involved in the procurement and placing in the so-called street sale of narcotic drugs in the area of the Municipality of Bar.
The found and seized drugs will be sent to the Forensic Center for expert examination.
"The state prosecutor in the VDT in Podgorica was informed about the event, who ordered that MR be deprived of his liberty and brought to his custody with a criminal charge due to the well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs," they concluded from of the police.
