Herceg Novi: Niko Roganović killed in Sacekuša

Niko Roganović (66), a resident of Novalja, was killed during the night, at one hour and 20 minutes after midnight in the Dubrava neighborhood of Herzegnov, in a classic case, it was confirmed by "News" from the Police Directorate.

Roganović was killed about 500 meters from the building in Spasića and Masere Street, where he bought an apartment a few years ago, but his grandmother still lived in the house on Pet Danica Promenade in Savina.

Neighbors say that Niko Roganović and his son occasionally came to that house.

Cameras were installed at the entrance to the building belonging to the Roganović family after the bomb attack on his son.

Residents of the settlement where the murder took place mostly claim that they did not hear anything. Only one woman heard a crash and thought it was a traffic accident.

According to the initial information of the police, Roganović was shot at by at least two people, and he succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in Herzegovina.

Niko Roganović is the father of Duško Roganović, who died in in a planted explosion on April 26 of this year, he was left without both legs.

Niko Roganović was acquitted of cigarette smuggling charges in 2013.

The police said that they are intensively working to solve the murder of Roganović.

"Herzegovinian police are intensively working to shed light on the murder of NR (66) from Herceg Novi, which happened during the night of 25/26 July 07 in the Dubrava settlement, in Herceg Novi. for now unknown persons approached the vehicle in which NR was located and fired several shots in his direction from a firearm from which NR died. The state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed about the incident, who conducted an on-site investigation with police officers. CB Herceg Novi and other organizational units are taking intensive measures and actions to identify and find the perpetrators of this criminal act," the Police Administration said in a statement.
