Watermelon is much more than a favorite summer refreshment. It is an excellent source of antioxidants that neutralize free radicals in the body. Watermelon contains acid that acts as an exfoliant and is therefore very useful for removing skin blemishes. It is rich in vitamins A, B and C which are very important if you want to keep your skin fresh, radiant and hydrated.
Watermelon mask for glowing skin
ingredients:
1 cup watermelon 1/2 ripe banana 2 tablespoons oatmeal 1/2 cup yogurt
Procedure:
1. Make a paste of all the ingredients with the help of a fork. You can also use a mixer, but you should not mix them too much, because the mask may become too runny.
2. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water, and if it is too liquid, add a little yogurt.
3. Pour the mask into a clean container and put it in the refrigerator to stand for at least one hour.
Application:
1. Apply a thin layer of the mask on a clean face and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes.
