The Montenegrin police today filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor against KH (25) from Beran, whom they suspect of stealing wood from the state forest.
The police stopped and checked KH in the town of Harem - Berane, while he was driving a truck without license plates, in which there were thirteen cham logs, with a total mass of 9,52 cubic meters.
"Further checks have established that the logs in question come from six cham trees, which were illegally cut down in the state forest in the Jelovice region. In this way, it is suspected, KH caused damage to the material to the Forestry Administration in the total amount of 1.742,48 euros. " the police announced.
The prosecutor ordered that a report be filed against KH for the criminal offense of forest theft.
