Serbian national team member Milica Mandić became the world champion in taekwondo, after defeating the defending champion and Olympic champion from Rio, local competitor Hje-ri Oh in the final of the category up to 73 kilograms in South Korea in 17:13.
Mandić, the Olympic champion from London, brought Serbia the second gold in Mudžu, after Vanja Stanković (up to 49 kg), winning her second world medal after bronze six years ago, also in South Korea.
