New resident Nemanja Zurovac (20) was arrested in Belgrade after the local police found weapons and ammunition in his possession.
A source from the top of the Montenegrin police told "Vijesta" that, clarifying that the citizen from Hercegovina was arrested on April 24 in the Serbian capital.
Two days later, Serbian police handcuffed Kotoran's Vladimir Roganović (31) and his friends Igor Bošnjak and Luka Medić. They were arrested for falsified documents.
The interlocutor from the top of UP said that colleagues from Serbia informed them that Zurovac was with Strahinja Knežević (29) from Belgrade at the time of his arrest. "By searching the car they were in, the police found weapons, ammunition and a large number of cartridges. "Colleagues are checking to see if they 'fired' the guns and were preparing for serious crimes," explained the same source.
He pointed out that Serbian police officers are checking the communication between Zurovac and Knežević with members of one of Kotor's criminal clans, with which they are allegedly close.
"Operational information says that they had a specific task, but so far they are only charged with illegal possession of weapons," said the interlocutor from UP.
The Montenegrin police announced at the beginning of April that they had issued a warrant for Zurovec.
At that time, the UP explained that the expert examination of the weapon seized in early February in Igalo showed that its DNA was on the "astra" pistol, a hand-made pistol in the form of a chemical, bullets and phantoms.
In January 2016, he was arrested for the attempted murder of two people from Tiv.
A source from the top of the Montenegrin police said that Zurovac is a close associate of Vladimir Roganović, an alleged member of one of Kotor's criminal clans. In 2014, Roganović was acquitted of the murder of the leader of the "deli" Marko Vesnić on July 24, 2009. He was also arrested for illegal possession of weapons.
In June 2014, the police suspected him of ordering bomb attacks in front of the house of brothers Milivoj and Milenko Ivančević, ZIKS officials.
Allegedly, he committed that criminal offense while he was in the Pre-trial Prison.
