The traditional international boxing tournament, the Podgorica Trophy, which will gather 136 boxers from 15 countries, will begin tomorrow with the quarter-final fights, the organizers of the event announced.
It is stated that the tournament, which will be held from April 28 to 30 in the hall of the secondary medical school, will bring together boxers in the junior and youth competition.
From the Montenegrin juniors, Nenad Marković (up to 50), Edin Alković (up to 54), Petar Liješević (up to 66), Balša Božović (up to 66), Miloš Krasnići (up to 70) and Viktor Mihailović (up to 70) will perform.
Stefan Savković (up to 60), Stevan Sjekloća (up to 60), Milovan Sekulović (up to 69) and Kristijan Drobnjak (up to 75) will compete in the youth competition.
The organizer of the tournament, the 14th in a row, will be the Podgorica Boxing Association.
It was announced that the tournament is on the calendar of the World Amateur Boxing Federation.
The quarterfinal matches will start at 16:XNUMX p.m.
A day later, at the same time, the semi-finals are scheduled, while the final matches will be held on April 30 (12.00).
Milovan Sekulović won the trophy last year.
