All great artists doubt themselves!

He has been acting for 35 years, he has performed almost 100 roles. He marked each one in his own way. Tihomir Stanić says that he knew from an early age that he would become an actor. He started his work in the theater and played his first roles in Atelje 212.

He gained particular popularity in the TV series "The End of the Obrenović Dynasty" playing King Alexander. He also revived many writers such as Ivo Andrić, Stevan Sremac, Miloš Crnjanski...

He also founded the production company Balkan Film and so far, in addition to being an actor, he has also tried his hand as a producer in the films "Tour", "Forsifier", "The Enemy".

We are currently watching him in the series "My Father's Killers", which is broadcast on Vijesti television. The actor shone in the popular series as police chief Marjanović, involved in the murder of his colleague Mile Jakovljević, his former friend and father of his younger colleague Aleksandar, played by Vuk Kostić, as well as Milice Despotović.

"All great artists doubt themselves," Stanić told "Kurir" during the filming of the series "My Father's Killers".

"People are talking about the series because it is one of the few that must be watched carefully because of the good plot. The effort invested in seeing enhances perception. And our series is objectively good, in many segments. Different from many that we used to underestimate the audience. My character will live forever. At least in the memories of those who loved him. Or in folders and drawers. We'll see.”

"As Obrenović, people didn't recognize me on the street because of the mask. On Mondays, I even talked to passengers on the trolleybus about the series without them recognizing that we were talking about me. It amused me. Now I'm at an age where I can handle that popularity well. And I like it. I am happy for me personally and for those who entrusted me with this role."
