Most people use deodorants on a daily basis without wondering if their ingredients are harmful to health.
When sweating, we secrete sweat under the armpits, which has no smell, but when it comes into contact with bacteria, a smell is created. Deodorant exists to neutralize those unpleasant odors, but also to affect sweating. The deodorant consists of an antiseptic agent and perfume, which destroys bacteria and gives a nice smell.
Antiperspirants prevent sweating, due to the chemicals they contain. If you don't sweat, there won't be any unpleasant odors. Antiperspirants have a better effect than deodorants in terms of preventing odors, but they also have health consequences.
Breast cancer in women and Alzheimer's disease are diseases that are linked to aluminum found in antiperspirant. What you put on your body also enters your body, and once aluminum enters your body, it acts like estrogen.
Aluminum in large doses affects the nervous system.
Today, the choice is really large, and most often a combination of one and the other is offered, and they are sold under the same name deodorant. Therefore, before buying, if you want to buy only deodorant, you should read the composition.
However, there is also a much healthier choice. Natural preparations do not contain dangerous chemicals, do not clog pores and work better than commercial preparations. In just a few minutes, you can make your own natural scent to prevent unpleasant odors.
