Each of us sometimes feels some symptoms, but we don't immediately go to the doctor, because we know our body well enough and know when the pain is the result of moving the furniture or taking too many bites. Dangerous pains are those that are not so intense, so we ignore them, even though they may be serious health problems.
1. Indigestion after eating fatty or fried food
For example, what appears to be indigestion after eating fatty or fried food may be the gallbladder trying to produce bile to digest that food. However, the bile does not come out due to a gallstone blocking the exit and what the person may feel is a dull, vague pain under the ribs on the right side that may extend to the right shoulder blade.
2. Chest pains
Chest pains can be the result of pneumonia or a heart attack, and that's why cardiologists warn that heart diseases usually appear as discomfort, not pain. Heart patients feel pressure in the chest, and discomfort related to heart disease can also manifest as pain in the left shoulder, arm, or jaw.
3. Sore throat and heart attack pain
Teas, honey and tablets can relieve your sore throat, but it is good to know that it can also be a symptom of a heart attack, with this symptom occurring 12 times more often in women than in men.
A sore throat can be the result of chest pain in patients who have suffered a heart attack due to poor blood flow to the heart.
Heart attack pain manifests itself differently in men and women - 35 percent of heart attacks in women go unnoticed and many women do not recognize subtle signs such as fatigue, nausea and sweating.
4. Stomach aches
Stomach pains most often occur as a result of hunger, nervousness, indigestion or lazy bowels. During this, the person feels pain under the breastbone (sternum), and the burning may be the result of an ulcer, which is activated shortly after eating certain foods.
5. Gum inflammation
When a person suffers from gingivitis, it is possible that it is a periodontal disease that destroys the gum tissue and the bones that hold the teeth. Symptoms such as pain, bleeding and bad breath can occur when hormones are out of balance, for example during menstruation, pregnancy, menopause or when taking birth control pills.
If the inflammation lasts more than a few days, it is important to seek the help of a dentist, because otherwise the person may be exposed to a greater risk of arteriosclerosis, heart attack or stroke, infertility and lung diseases.
6. Strong menstrual-like cramps
Strong cramps, similar to menstrual cramps, may indicate endometriosis that affects the organs and may be the cause of infertility. Women with endometriosis are more likely to suffer from allergies, asthma and immune diseases, but severe cramps do not automatically mean that a person has endometriosis, which can be determined by a gynecologist using the laparoscopy method.
7. Hoarseness
We first associate hoarseness with a cold or it occurs as a result of shouting loudly, but if the hoarseness lasts longer than two weeks, it may indicate a problem such as hypothyroidism or reflux, the appearance of polyps or nodules which, if not treated, can cause chronic hoarseness.
8. Peripheral neuropathy
Experts point out that many people suffer from diabetes without even knowing it or being diagnosed with the disease. In them, peripheral neuropathy may appear as one of the signs - a tingling or tingling sensation in the legs and feet, which may indicate nerve damage.
In any case, doctors say that it is important to "listen" to your body and go for regular check-ups with a doctor, because otherwise, some disease can creep in that can be prevented or successfully treated.
