The owner of the Beagle discotheque, Miodrag Kruščić, businessman Zoran Ćoćo Bećirović and two other people were taken into police custody the night before yesterday, after they complained about the police's failure to react to previous false reports. They were brought before a magistrate and released. The fourth false report of a bomb planted in the club occurred yesterday at around 2 am.
"My friends protested, and the police officers started pushing them, threatening and cursing them. The commander who was with them didn't ask any questions, my friends said to detain them if the verbal protest was objectionable, and they did," Kruščić said.
He said he knew someone would falsely alert the police again, which is why he called them earlier in the day to conduct an inspection, which they refused...
He stated that because of this, he called the duty officer and the prosecutor, insisting that they meet, but to no avail.
