The exhibition of graphic artist Nataša Drešić entitled "Self-realization", organized by the Center of Contemporary Art of Montenegro, will be opened tonight in the gallery "Centar" in Podgorica at 19:XNUMX.
"Accepting and understanding all the specificity and delicacy of graphics as a medium, in terms of the uniqueness of its concept as multi-original art, graphic artist Nataša Drešić creates her creative expression by nurturing and respecting the primary understanding of graphic uniqueness, born from the legacy of her centuries-old tradition, which implies patient and devoted dedication demanding technical processes of lithography, algraphy or serigraphy. In the current time of modern technologies, rapid reproduction and mass production, such an approach to graphic work is increasingly becoming an exception, especially in the generation of younger artists to which the author belongs, and in this sense, her work acquires another shade of seriousness in relation to the entire process of creation." wrote about the work of Nataša Drešić, art historian Milica Bezmarević, who will also open the exhibition.
Nataša Drešić graduated in 2016 from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje, from the graphics department in the class of prof. Anke Burić, M.Sc. During 2015, she was on a study trip to the Ecole Superieure d'Art de Lorraine in Metz, France.
