We have been on trial for four years, can the prosecutor reclassify this criminal offense, accuse me of terrorism, I will confess, make it easier for everyone, pay something and let's finish, Ninoslav Kaluđerović suggested today in the Basic Court, in the proceedings in which he and seven other people were accused, because they peacefully protested because of the bad situation in the country.
Judge Goran Đuković briefly commented that the prosecutor cannot reclassify the offense, because the accused would be in a more difficult position if they were tried for that criminal offense.
Kaluđerović, Marko Milačić, Boban Batrićević, Irena Delja, Danilo Mrvaljević, Miro and Milka Radević and Aljoša Turović are being tried again for failure to comply with the police order to remove them, after the High Court annulled the acquittal decision.
The trial was postponed yesterday to March 3, because Turović's defense attorney, lawyer Momčilo Knežević, and the defendants Milačić, Delja, Batrićević and Turović did not appear, and they were not even duly summoned for the hearing.
