Detainee Petar - Pero Damjanović claims that he has witnesses that he beat Miloš Trbo (31) from Kotor in the Investigation Prison, and that it was also recorded by surveillance cameras.
"I have witnesses for that. I don't know who informed you about it. They denied it, and I swear to you, no one asked me anything, but that is less important now," he wrote in Damjanović's letter delivered to "Vijesti".
On January 8, "Vijesti" announced that an arrested member of the Skaljar clan had beaten a detainee suspected of complicity in the murder of Dalibor Đurić.
A day later, the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions responded, claiming that the management of ZIKS does not cover up incidents between skalars and kavčans, but that there was no fight.
Damjanović also wrote that on January 4 or 5, on the stairs, he also clashed with detainee Miča Milović, who is staying in the room with Trba.
"Who introduces himself as a friend of the kava team and calls himself a kava citizen, and he is with Trbo in the room and Trbo is his son-in-law. I meet him on the stairs, where he attacks me (he starts at me) because of Trbo. There I give him several blows with an open palm (slapping), where he runs to the commander Vlad (I don't know his last name) and starts next to him with threats. The commander and five guys who happened to be there during the fight saw all this. One of the guys is cook Delević." wrote Damjanović.
He added that the administration of ZIKS hides everyday problems behind the walls of Spu.
"I have all the evidence, cameras, witnesses! But you are right, the management is doing everything to cover up the daily problems that are happening. This is the fifth time I have written to you, four times through the management, but I don't think it reached you. Please do something about this".
"Vijesti" previously, referring to sources from Spuša prison, announced that incidents between detained members of Kotor clans were frequent, but that the management of ZIKS skillfully covered them up.
ZIKS responded yesterday that "according to the Code of Criminal Procedure, every address of a detained person is delivered to the competent judge who ordered the detainee to be detained".
In response to the text about the fight between Damjanović and Trbo, they claimed that the two detainees were staying in different rooms and that there was no possibility of them being in the same place. Damjanović was arrested in December 2016 in Kotor, in the house of Jovan and Igor Vukotić, whom the police designate as the heads of the Skaljar clan.
