The police know who wounded Vlahovic?

The top of the Podgorica police claim that they know who wounded Mirko Vlahović (44) two nights ago in the center of the capital city.

"Because of the suspicion that they tried to kill Vlahović, we are looking for two men," said a police source.

The well-known kick boxer was seriously wounded in a shooting in front of the Buda bar cafe in Podgorica, in Stanka Dragojevića Street.

About twenty minutes after midnight, several shots were fired at him.

He was shot in the abdomen and in both legs.

A man from Podgorica, who works as a security guard at Buda Bar, was standing in front of the cafe with two colleagues at that moment.

The police suspect that the shooter was hiding behind the bushes on the island dividing the road.

At the place where the shots were fired, shell casings were reportedly found.

One of the eyewitnesses told "Vijesta" that after the shooting, he saw a man running across the street towards the park.

A source from the police said that inspectors yesterday, on the order of senior state prosecutor Miloš Šoškić, questioned several people who were eyewitnesses to the shooting in front of the "Buda Bar".

The prosecutor in charge of that investigation qualified the act as aggravated attempted murder.

After being injured, Vlahović was transferred to the Clinical Center in Podgorica. The director of the Emergency Center, Dr. Nermin Abdić, said yesterday that Vlahović is stable.

"He has injuries in the region of both upper legs, without damage to neurovascular and bone structures and an injury to the stomach. One projectile, which hit the stomach, caused four injuries to the intestinal structure. He was taken care of by the surgical team on duty, he was operated on, he is in intensive care and for now he is stable," said Abdić.

On November 23, 2014, Vlahović was wounded in the cafe "Mr Cool" in Podgorica, where he was also employed as a security guard.

Božo Vujisić, who is on trial in the Podgorica High Court, then wounded Vlahović and killed his cousin Igor Milošević.

The calculations of criminal clans do not sway the police director's chair

Police Director Slavko Stojanović will not be dismissed because he enjoys the support of Prime Minister Duško Marković, according to "Vijesti" interlocutors close to the Prime Minister.

Marković allegedly planned to hold a meeting today with key people from the prosecution and security services, which will discuss the security situation and further personnel changes in the Police Directorate and the National Security Agency.

"Vijesti" sources said that despite the cocaine war raging on the streets of Montenegrin cities, which has resulted in more than ten unsolved murders, the prime minister does not intend to look for a new police chief.

The head of the criminal police resigned a day after 31-year-old Đorđe Sekulović was killed and Jelena Korać (XNUMX) was seriously wounded in a bomb attack in Podgorica.

However, he claims that his resignation has nothing to do with the security situation in the country, but that it is a personal act.

During Pavićević's mandate, conflicts between criminal clans escalated on the streets of Montenegrin cities, which were also settled near schoolyards.
