On the Evening Stage of the City Theater, work is underway on a new play - "Guardians of Your Honesty". It is an author's project by one of the leading directors of the region, Boris Liješević.

Liješević found the idea for this theater project in a recognizable verse of the Montenegrin national anthem, and the play will deal with the contemporary social circumstances in which we live and the values on which we were raised. He will ask numerous topical questions such as what honesty means today in Montenegro, what we are able to sacrifice for the sake of honor and image, what we are like and where we are in relation to our ancestors, what time has brought us that distances us from the basic "code" of our ancestors , and what is left of the honesty that gave birth to our anthem.

In "Guardians of Your Honesty" almost the entire cast of the City Theater was engaged, and the roles were entrusted to Dubravka Drakić, Božidar Zuber, Emir Ćatović, Branka Femić, Željko Radunović, Katarina Krek, Ivona Čović-Jaćimović, Sanja Popović, Pavlo Ilić, Branko Ilić and Sim Trebješanin.

In addition to the director Liješević, the author's team includes Rambo Amadeus who will do the music, Gorčin Stojanović as set designer, then costume designer Tijana Todorović and playwright Stella Mišković.

The play "Guardians of Your Honesty" will premiere in mid-February in the Great Hall of KIC "Budo Tomović".
