The Nikšić police arrested Darko Vicković (37) from Nikšić due to the well-founded suspicion that on October 11 last year he was transporting several firearms from the town of Slano to Nikšić in cooperation with several persons.
Vicković, who is charged with the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive devices, was detained by the state prosecutor after the hearing.
Last year, the police arrested Ranko Radulović (56), Radoš Petrušić (40) and Ratko Martinović (36) at Lake Slano on suspicion of illegally possessing weapons and ammunition.
At that time, a "glock" pistol, a CZ pistol, five pieces of ammunition frames of different calibers with a total of 71 pieces of pistol ammunition and two body armor vests were found with them, and the pistols were observed to have traces of a stamped factory number.
The car in which there were weapons was driven by Petrušić. He and Radulović were released, while Martinović was ordered to be investigated. During the investigation, as "Vijesti" was told by the police, evidence was collected against Vicković, who was arrested today.
Vicković is a repeat offender in the commission of these crimes, and on September 9 of last year in the "Cepinac" restaurant in Nikšić, he was also deprived of his liberty after a CZ model M57 pistol was found in his possession.
