Miroslav Ćetković was prepared for a sachekusha. He had no debts, nor was there an argument between him and the killer before the shooting, as some now want to present.
This was told to "Vijesti" yesterday by those close to the man from Budva, who was shot dead in front of a Budva bar.
"A few days ago, he was told that a man had come to kill him. He didn't want to hide and that's why he ended up like this", said the interlocutor of "Vijesti".
Ćetković and Bosnia and Herzegovina citizen Predrag Ilinčić were killed in the crossfire.
"Vijesti" was told that a man from Budva was driving his car down a one-way street towards the bar, and that the killer was waiting for him outside, armed with two pistols.
According to this information, Ćetković also managed to pull out a weapon and shoot his attacker.
"Several shots were fired. The police found Ćetković's lifeless body on the seat of the Toyota... Ilinčić cursed at the police officer who was trying to lift him off the asphalt," said the source for "Vijesti".
Ćetković died at the scene of the firefight, and Ilinčić in the Kotor hospital.
The inspectors brought in all the guests who were in the cafe at the time of the shooting for an informational interview the night before last and seized the footage from the surveillance cameras from that and the surrounding buildings.
After the murder of Đorđe Boreta on December 7, Budva was practically under a police blockade, and the inspectors then kept a watchful eye on persons of security interest from that city.
The clan from Rafailović, to which Ćetković allegedly belonged, was under special attention.
In mid-July 2015, he was arrested in the police operation "Cleaner", aimed at combating drug smuggling.
At that time, it was announced that 19 people had been deprived of their freedom across the country, including a Budvanin.
More than 250 police officers participated in the police operations at the time, and the searches found and confiscated 250 grams of cocaine, 2,6 kilograms of marijuana and skunk, 542 grams of heroin, weapons, mobile phones...
