The officers of the Spuša prison had to use tear gas to prevent a fight between detainees Vladimir Ulama and Aleksandar Marković.
Podgorica basic prosecutor Vukas Radonjić was also informed about the incident, who stated that there are no elements of a criminal offense, which is why the brawlers will only face disciplinary charges.
Unofficial sources of "Vijesti" claim that the conflict took place in the visiting room.
The interlocutor of "Vijesti" said that Ulama then physically attacked Marković, who was sitting next to him.
"If the prison security officers had not reacted, a more serious incident would have occurred. They barely separated them," said the "Vijesti" source.
He added that they had to spray them, because otherwise they could not separate them.
"Otherwise, ZIKS officials had to use physical force."
Yesterday, the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions did not announce anything about it.
The Police Directorate unofficially told "Vijesti" that they were informed about the incident, but that there was no need for their intervention.
Marković was recently sentenced to six years in prison with Majki Gregori Ferraris for creating a criminal organization and planning the murder of Budva resident Goran Đuričković and a family of four.
The first-instance verdict in the Podgorica High Court was pronounced by the Special Criminal Panel of Judge Suzana Mugoša in the Podgorica High Court.
Vladimir Ulama from Barana was sentenced to three months in prison for illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials in the Podgorica Basic Court.
He was tried because on April 10 in Podgorica, a 9 mm Browning pistol and three bullets of that caliber were found in his possession.
Ulama is also one of the suspects in the disappearance of Nemanja Medina from Petrovac.
Medin disappeared on July 8, after leaving Petrovac in the direction of Virpazar.
The day after his disappearance, the police interrogated Ulama, who, based on the phone listing, was found to be the last person to talk to Petrovčanin on the phone.
After the interrogation, he disappeared until the beginning of August, when he was arrested in Bogdan Milić's house.
The police have promised a reward of 30.000 euros for information that will help find Medina.
