The only representative of Montenegro at the World Cup in e-sports, e-footballer Bojan Tatar, summarized his impressions from the competition that is taking place these days in the Romanian city of Iași. Namely, Tatar finished fourth in group E with a total of 14 points, which was not enough to advance. He showed combativeness and good play on the virtual field, but from the start it was assumed that he would be successful if he passed the group stage of the competition.

"Unfortunately, I finished fourth, which is realistic according to some rankings, but I definitely have something to regret. One win out of two draws against Japan and Argentina would take me further," said Tatar, who definitely lacked luck in the competition. About how difficult it is in those moments when he loses to maintain focus and concentrate on the game despite the nervousness, he reveals:

“The playing conditions were a bit surprising for a World Cup on the first day. It was extremely hot inside. The guy from Argentina definitely undeservedly took four points and I took one. The real situation would be 3 for 3, but what is there is. Even in such conditions, after many missed chances, I was focused 100 percent on the match and was waiting to open it, but I just didn't feel like it. Everything that I realize every day in front of the goal, this time simply could not happen", explains Tatar, who played one match each to a draw with the biggest favorites of the group, competitors from Argentina and Japan. Only the competitor from Turkey managed to beat him in both matches, so he had the opportunity to learn something thanks to their good play.

"These are guys who play on the pro scene, and you can definitely pick up something from them. They are all good, but the guy from Japan left the strongest impression on me. This is my third major competition, second Worlds in a row and I've never seen anyone like that guy. Mentally ultra stable, no reaction. Everything possible that the game has, it uses with perfect timing. I am sure they will go to the Top 4", predicts Tatar.

In the first matches of the tournament, he faced the opponents with the Manchester team, and already on the second day he decided for a combination of the aforementioned team and Roma. When asked why he chose these two teams and whether it might have cost him because he lost at certain moments, he answers:

"When you play at this level, you must always have at least two tactics ready. Sometimes you have to adapt and if it doesn't work with one, try another. I think it didn't cost me. It cost me that these are pro players of the 1v1 mode and they, unlike me, have dedicated their lives to this", notes Tatar, who previously stated that after this tournament he will participate in the championships exclusively as a coach, and that the experiences he gained in Definitely use Jashija.

“I've learned that it's time to retire when it comes to 1v1 mode. I have fulfilled, so to speak, some of my boyhood dreams by participating in the World Cup and I feel that it is definitely time to retire. I will certainly participate in tournaments around Montenegro, but more for the reason of scouting players, than I will be competitive. As you say, I see myself in the near future in the role of coach, because I think I can be much more successful there. Already at the end of September, the Balkan League awaits us in 3v3 mode and I hope soon 11v11, so there will be plenty of games in any case. But again, these multy modes are much closer to me than the 1v1 mode", claims the e-footballer who had the loudest support from the stands in recent days, because the fan group "Dukljani" also arrived in Jaša.

“I had the best fans at the World Cup, definitely. A lot of guys stopped me and told me that I have good fans. I have to publicly thank everyone, starting with the four ladies Marija, Mia, Kristina and Nađa, all the way to andra, Filipa, Hopelessness, You're pulling, Brax, Duke, Pavla and of course my coach Rada Pavićević who did his best to help me with tactics... Of course, besides them who were the wind at my back from the stands, there were also Roxas, Aki, Andre who are the representatives of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia", concludes Tatar.
