The Union of Electronic Sports of Montenegro is organizing the IESF qualifications for the World Championship in eSports, which will be held at the end of the year in Riyadh. This time, too, the prize pool exceeds expectations, and it will be held from November 11 to 19, but not all the titles that have been in IESF competitions so far, they have already decided to change the titles in favor of women's team esports.

"This year, after a long series of years, the fight game Tekken was excluded, and among the titles we will have Counter Strike 2 in the open and women's category, Mobile legends Bang Bang in the open and women's category, as well as PUBG mobile, e-Football and DOTA 2 in the open category. By the way, this is a record world championship where over 130 countries of the world have registered", notes the president of the Electronic Sports Association of Montenegro, Filip Šoć.

Qualifications start on March 16, and e-footballers will be the first to try their hand in the Gamesbox game. As many as two tournaments will be held for open CS2, on March 23 in the Sova game room in Bar and on April 6 in the Game Zone game room, while the final is a day later also in the Game Zone game room. For the women's team, applications will be open until April 7. Fans of DOTA2 titles will meet on March 30 in the Tru gamer game room, while for mobile games PUBG mobile and BMBLBB for open and women competitions will be online. Thus, the teams for PUBG mobile will compete on April 13, and we will know who will seek a ticket to Riyadh in the MBLBB in the open and women's categories through the qualification phase on April 20 and 21, respectively.

Last year, SESCG had one representative at the World Cup, and only in the e-Football title, and it is an e-footballer. Bojan Tatar represented Montenegro in Iasi.

"Like every previous year, Montenegro had a wild card for all competitions, this year we decided that there will be no wild card, but the players and teams will have to make an effort to get to Riyadh. The easiest will be in the efootball competition, as 80 competitors will participate. With the fact that if no other title qualifies, we will automatically have an efootball player as well," reveals Šoć.

This year, even two team games will be dedicated to women. Last year, Montenegro had a women's CS:GO team for the first time, but they did not qualify for JAši through the qualification phase. Regarding whether there will be any changes in it, given that the game has also changed, and CS2 will be played in Riyadh, Šoć says:

“This year we have CS2 and MLBB in the women's competition. We have published an invitation for the national team, so we will see who will be on the roster for this year", notes Šoć, and claims that there are also interested parties for the women's MLBB team, which is one of the most popular titles.

"There are always those interested, but it is a very expensive esport and it is very difficult to organize a professional team, especially in women's competition," he concludes.
