Montenegrin eSports players Dejan Raičević and Filip Bojanić competed in the first round of the eEurocup, the second most important competition in the NBA2K title.
Raičević, who plays for Buducnost, achieved a convincing victory against Bojanić's Trento with a score of 79:61.
Raičević set the pace from the very beginning, opening the match with a 7:0 run, and with aggressive defense, limited the opposing team to only 10 points in the first quarter, while they scored from all positions on offense (19:10).
Trento tried to get back into the game, reducing the deficit to four points (28:24), but three-pointers by Slavković and Sulaimon restored confidence to Buducnost, which went into halftime with a double-digit lead (37:27).
The third quarter was played at an even pace, but the Italian team failed to find a solution to the organized attack of Buducnost, which continued to increase the difference (61:46).
In the finals, the team from Podgorica reached the maximum 21-point lead and routinely brought the match to an end, with an 18-point difference, recording a well-deserved victory at the tournament opener.
In the next round, Raičević will face Lenart Kristen, who manages the Reyer Venezia team, while Bojanić will play against Altan Punar, who defends the colors of the Cuban Cedevita Olimpija.
