The gaming industry, which is constantly growing and transforming, is becoming an increasingly important segment of the global economic and cultural sphere day by day. But Montenegro is not lagging behind when it comes to this branch of the industry, and there are more and more events dedicated to it. One of the most prominent, which is slowly becoming a tradition, is the Montenegro Future Festival.
Montenegro Future Festival 2025 is one of the largest gaming, e-sports and tech events in the region, which will take place from 9 to 11 May 2025 at the Dom Kulture in Bar. This prestigious event, which exceeds all expectations, will bring together more than 200 international participants from more than 35 countries around the world.

Representatives from governments, international organizations, leading e-sports and gaming federations, technology companies, and universities are expected to attend. The festival will focus on the development of the e-sports industry, education, digital innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the professionalization of gaming through legal frameworks and infrastructure reforms.
One of the key events of the festival will be the European Gaming Summit, which brings together leading experts in the fields of esports, gaming and education. Over the course of two days, participants will attend numerous panels, presentations and discussions covering topics such as the evolution of esports tournaments, monetization and sponsorship, technological innovations, fair play and integrity, AI in the gaming industry and professional esports contracts.

Also, the festival will host the E-Adriatic Cup at EA FC 25, which brings together the best teams and players from over 20 countries. The tournament brings a prize pool of three thousand euros and will give young talents the opportunity to prove themselves in the presence of global e-sports scouts and organizers. The competition will be broadcast online via streaming platforms.
The festival's educational sessions will be organized in partnership with NASEF Academy (Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports Federations) and ESIC Academy (Esports Integrity Commission), institutions that deal with youth education, leadership development, cybersecurity, ethics, and proper team and tournament management.

The festival will also feature numerous global companies such as Tencent, Moonton Games, Yalla Group, ESL FACEIT Group, BLAST, Girl Gamer, World Phygital Community (WPC), IESF, EEF, GEF, NASEF, ESIC, Crnogorski Telekom, CKB, GamesCon, FiveG, GameChanger and many others.
One of the special segments of the festival will be the Mini Expo FIVE G zone, which will be located in the Cultural Center. This interactive zone will provide visitors with a unique experience of technology, gaming and pop culture. Mini Expo's partner, FiveG Group, is known for developing educational and gaming systems, organizing international tournaments and building e-sports infrastructure in the region. Visitors will have the opportunity to try out racing and sports game simulators, VR devices, gaming stations with the latest equipment, a retro gaming corner and many other innovations. The Mini Expo zone will be divided into several interactive sections, including retro game tournaments, mobile gaming challenges, console tournaments, VR competitions, as well as pop culture exhibitions with LEGO, Marvel, DC, Star Wars and anime collections. In addition to the exhibition part, Mini Expo will also be a place for meetings, conversations and education about modern technologies and the role of gaming in education and the entertainment industry.
The festival is organized by the Electronic Sports Association of Montenegro (SESCG) with the support of the Municipality of Bar and TO Bar and other partners.
