A delegation of the Montenegrin Phygital Community and the Electronic Sports Association paid an official visit to the Embassy of Montenegro in Abu Dhabi, where a cordial and constructive reception was held, once again confirming the importance of modern digital sports as a bridge of international cooperation.
The members of the delegation were welcomed by representatives of the Embassy of Montenegro in the United Arab Emirates, who expressed strong support for the development of phygital sports and eSports, recognizing their potential for promoting Montenegro on the global stage, especially in a technologically advanced and innovation-oriented environment such as the UAE.
During the meeting, the past successes of Montenegrin teams in international competitions, the development of phygital sports as a combination of physical and digital activities, as well as the growing interest of young people in eSports disciplines were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on strategic plans for the coming period, including strengthening institutional support, talent development, and participation in major international events.
Also, specific opportunities for expanding cooperation between Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates were discussed, through joint projects, exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as potential investments in the field of eSports, technology and the digital industry. The interlocutors agreed that the UAE represents an extremely important partner for the further development of this sector, given its strong infrastructure and global position in the world of innovation.
