Hip hop icon, rapper EsDeeKid is the new star of the Fortnite Festival.
He has joined the list of musicians who have appeared in the popular game, and fans of this title will be able to purchase limited items in the in-game store next week.
The pack features an outfit inspired by the "Dark Error" aesthetic, with multiple variations and reactive effects, as well as accessories like the "Grimhaul Bag" backpack and the "Cerberus" companion. The "Scouse Stepper" emote is also included, rounding out the complete themed set.
The entire collection can be purchased at once, as a single package, for 3400 V-Bucks, and comes with the "Mace Der" microphone, the "Medievil Metal" weapon skin, the "New Royalty" loading screen, and the new Jam song "4 Raws."
Two additional tracks by the artist have been added as part of the Fortnite Festival mode - "Rottweiler" and "Century", and the complete collection will be available until May 25th.
After the collaboration began on May 15th, EsDeeKid took to social media to comment that he was trying to win the game, but that, as he stated, "it's not really working out."
The audience's reactions were divided, some players didn't know who it was, while others pointed out that it was a recognizable name from the underground rap scene, noting that Fortnite is increasingly collaborating with musicians from different genres.
Fortnite has had a number of big music collaborations so far. Artists who have already received their own skins or events include Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, Eminem, The Weeknd, and Dua Lipa.
