Rapper Snoop Dogg has confirmed that Tupac Shakur's likeness and likeness will be used in the game "Stranger Than Heaven," the new title from the creators of the "Like A Dragon" series.
“Stranger Than Heaven” is an action-adventure game whose plot spans fifty years.
"A saga of men with nowhere to go and their desperate struggle to find a home. Use extreme violence to survive and musical talent to rise as an entertainer across five cities and different eras of modern Japan," the game's description states.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Snoop Dogg would play a character named Orpheus in the game “Stranger Than Heaven”.
During the Summer Game Fest event, the rapper took to the stage to confirm that Tupac Shakur would be part of the game under the name Amaru, which was his middle name.
“The Tupac legacy, my son and I work very closely together. So it made sense to include him in this game because his character and his spirit still live on. I felt it was strongly connected to what we do,” he explained. A statement from the game’s publisher, Sega, said Tupac’s inclusion in “Stranger Than Heaven” was made possible “with the permission and continued oversight of his estate, Amaru Entertainment.”
Stranger Than Heaven is released on January 15, 2027. MZ
