After yesterday's defeat to the ACF x Allur team at the Phygital Football qualifying tournament in Astana, Montenegrin representative KMF Titograd is back in the race for a place at the Games of the Future.
In the third match of Group D, the team from Podgorica defeated the JR Style team from Oman with a score of 4:2.
The digital part of the competition was an even game, ending without goals (0:0).
The real excitement ensued on the futsal field. The Omani team was the first to take the lead, but that goal further motivated the Titograd team, who quickly turned the score around to 2:1.
How combative the Montenegrin players were on the field is best shown by the fact that one KMF Titograd player was injured, so the team played the match on the real field with one less player.
JR Style managed to score another goal against their opponents, but KMF Titograd scored two more goals by the end of the match and deservedly won 4:2.
The decision on the placement at the Games of the Future will be made tomorrow, when the Montenegrin team faces the last match of the qualifying phase against the team from Cyprus.
If they win, we will watch KMF Titograd at the final tournament in Astana, which will be held from July 26th to August 4th.
