Last night, Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds won the Critics' Choice Awards for the best male role in a comedy for the character of the title character of the movie "Deadpool", but instead of focusing on himself during the speech, he shifted his attention to his colleague, writes People magazine.
"Honestly, I didn't expect this, so I didn't even prepare my speech. That's why I'm going to focus on Tom Hanks," said Reynolds, who, after everyone thought he was joking, continued talking about his colleague.
“Indeed, you had a great influence on me. The first meaningful sentence my two-year-old daughter uttered was 'There's no crying in baseball.' I'm not kidding," said the actor, alluding to Hanks' famous line from the movie "A League of Their Own."
Reynolds with his wife and colleague Blake Lively, in addition to 2-year-old James, has another daughter who arrived in the world in September, and whose name is still unknown.
