The film "The Good Wife" screened at Sundance

The world premiere of Mirjana Karanović's film "The Good Woman" was held at the Sundance Film Festival.

The audience, in a packed hall, was first addressed by John Nine, the selector of the festival, who introduced the film's team and said that this is the strongest selection of films in international competition that Sundance has ever had.

Introducing Mirjana as the director, writer, actress and soul of the film, John thanked the entire crew that came to Sundance.

“I'm very excited to be here. This is the first time that I am the complete author of a film story and this film is a kind of my confession regarding a problem that I consider very important in the place where I live. I hope that you too, even though you live in a completely different world from mine and apart from the problems we have in our small country, will be able to understand what I wanted to say with this film", said Mirjana Karanović, addressing the audience before the screening of the film.

The Sundance Film Festival lasts until January 31 and, as before, is a place for showing independent works. Mirjana Karanović's film is one of the 12 titles competing as part of the international selection of this festival.

After Sundance, the film crew travels to Sweden, where "The Good Wife" will compete as part of the international competition program dedicated to debut films.
