The star of the cult series "Friends" Matthew Perry admitted that at one time he used drugs so much that he came to the set completely unconscious. That's why today he doesn't remember filming the episodes in a span of three years at all. The end of the nineties and the beginning of the new millennium were the worst years of his addiction for Perry because he regularly used tranquilizers in combination with alcohol and other drugs, and in 2001 he was in rehab several times.
"I knew that I would come to the filming so 'broken' that I was not even aware of where I was. Because of this, I came into conflict with the producers and the rest of the crew. Maybe the viewers liked me, but I was by far the most unpopular friend among my colleagues and collaborators." he admitted, adding that the public did not know about it.
"Today I am talking publicly about the problems I went through, in order to help others," he added.
