Just a few days after it was announced that X-men franchise veteran Colossus is one of the main characters in the movie "Deadpool", it was revealed that he will be played by Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic. He thus became the first Serbian actor in a Marvel film and got the opportunity to collaborate with his famous colleague Ryan Reynolds.
The Serbian actor who also played in the TV series "24" and "The Event" got the role at the last minute instead of the originally planned Andrea Tricoto, and on that occasion he revealed in an interview with the magazine "Entertainment Weekly" that he is delighted to play Colossus.
"I filmed in America before, I had more than 80 roles on TV, film, theater, but the feeling of becoming a part of the Marvel universe is incredible. I can't describe that moment, when I think about it I feel happy and proud", said the actor, who will lend voice and movements to Colossus.
He praised both Reynolds and director Tim Miller, with whom he will collaborate.
“There is no actor in the world with so much talent and charm who could play Deadpool better than Ryan. Working with him was a fantastic experience and his ideas and suggestions helped me a lot... I have worked with many directors, but Tim Miller is definitely my favorite", revealed Kapicic.
