Reality shows are not a new television format, but they still attract huge numbers of viewers. The heads of various television companies gathered in Cannes to present their new projects.
In order to attract as many viewers as possible, reality shows are becoming more and more shocking and unbelievable. We bring you some of the new, bizarre concepts that will no doubt shock viewers.
Stripped is a Danish reality show where the rules are very simple. The candidates will be stripped of absolutely everything, even their wardrobe, they will be locked in a completely empty apartment and will be able to choose whether they want to eat or dress.
Bullseye - there will be no nudity in this show program, but it is among the most dangerous reality shows so far. The creators of the show revealed that the candidates will be catapulted by a huge slingshot placed on the roof of a speeding van, or they will be dragged through the fire... Whoever survives will talk.
The Raft is a show that comes from America. The cruel and dangerous show will surely attract a large number of viewers. In this reality show, the candidates are not fighting for a prize, but for bare life. They will be put on a raft without food or water and will have to survive for seven days surrounded by sharks and at the mercy of nature.
Pray for Love is a Swedish concept in which a priest tries to find earthly love. No doubt this show will cause many controversies.
Father Pride the show from Argentina will follow the lives of gay sons and their fathers who do not agree with their lifestyle. The grand finale of the reality show will take place on Gay Pride when it will be seen which fathers have come to terms (or not) with their sons' choices.
The so far unnamed show comes from Hungary. The concept is very simple. Candidates will have to get as drunk as possible. The breathalyzer will determine how drunk they are, and in that state they will have to complete various tasks.
Labor Games however, many consider it the most bizarre reality show. You guessed it, it comes from America. TV crews will raid maternity hospitals and ask various questions to women who are in labor pains. The prize is a gift for babies who are very likely to be born during the show.
