Screened fairy tales are often interesting not only for children but also for their parents, as well as for everyone who likes to enjoy stories about good and evil, love and malice, as well as the famous sentence "and they lived happily ever after".
The British Daily Telegraph singled out the 20 best adaptations of fairy tales, dominated by those produced by the famous Walt Disney studio.
In first place is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" from 1937, followed by "Pinocchio" (1940), "Cinderella" (1950), "Sleeping Beauty" (1959), "Labyrinth" from 1986 and "The Princess Bride" from 1987 .
The list continues with the teenage Ariel and the animated "The Little Siren", then there are "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "Shrek", "Enchanted Ella" realized in 2005 and "Pan's Labyrinth" (2006).
In 13th place is the production with Michelle Pfeiffer "Stardust" from 2007, followed by another Disney film - "Enchanted" made in 2007, followed by "The Princess and the Frog" in 2009, "Goldilocks and the Robber" (2010) and "Mirrors, Mirrors" with Julia Roberts in 2012.
The last three films are "Ice Kingdom", "Grdana - Evil Fairy" and the latest film from the list, this year's "Into the Woods" based on the famous musical by Stefan Sondheim.
