The European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which is the organizer of the Eurovision Song Contest, invited Kosovo to participate in the Eurovision Young Dancers competition, which is why Serbia, Serbian media write, will not send its representative to the competition.
Kosovo has so far not been recognized by ten European Union member states, none of which sends a representative to the competition, with the exception of Greece.
The director of Radio Television of Serbia, Aleksandar Tijanić, believes that the fact that Serbia is not sending a representative to the competition speaks volumes about what they think about the EBU procedure.
The competition for the selection of the best young dancers will be held in Oslo on June 24.
The competition is open to young people between the ages of 15 and 20, who are from EBU member countries, according to announcement the organizer of the competition.
In addition to Kosovo and Greece, the competition will also include Norway, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Croatia, Slovenia, Portugal and Poland.
