The Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro and the EU Info Center organize the European Film Festival in Bijelo Polje, which starts today and lasts until October 4, and is held in the "Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo" Culture Center. 10 films will be shown, including two from Montenegrin - two films each evening, at 18 pm and 20 pm, and admission to all screenings is free.
"In the selection for this year's edition, there were films of contemporary European cinematography awarded at numerous film screenings, mostly shot in co-production with European countries, with significant financial support from the European Union", announced the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro on the occasion of the start of the festival in Bijelo Polje.
On Wednesday, October 2, the Montenegrin Film Evening will be organized as part of the festival.
The festival is normally held in eight Montenegrin cities. It was officially opened in Podgorica at the beginning of September, and took place in Kotor, Ulcinj, Petrovac, Nikšić, Petnjica, and Mojkovac. It is the jubilee fifth edition of the European Film Festival, which this year also had its summer edition in Žabljak in June for the first time.
