VWilliam Baldwin will star in the second season of the series "South Wind", and negotiations with Monika Bellucci are ongoing, the director revealed Miloš Avramović.
"I am extremely pleased that William Baldwin and Michael Madsen to be part of the 'South Wind' series. This is the first time after many years that such big and recognized Hollywood stars participate in a Serbian project. Cooperation with them is the first step towards making it completely normal for world stars to appear in our series and films in the future," Avramović told Serbian media.
He added that the two have already signed contracts, and that Monica Bellucci will probably do so soon.
"We are negotiating a lot with Monika and it would be great if she was part of the team. There are many factors that will have to be coordinated, such as the timing of our shoot and her commitments. It is planned that she will have a few filming days in Italy and a few in Serbia," he added.
He revealed that in the continuation of this story, Hollywood stars Baldwin and Madsen will play American agents.
"In the series, they will protect the interests of the American administration, not only in Serbia but also in the Balkans. It is planned that they will come to Serbia in spring or early summer and they will be filming here all the time, mostly in Belgrade. William and Michael are also good friends privately, they are both fantastic and I am very honored that they will be part of our team", concluded Avramović.
Currently, the film "South Wind 2: Acceleration" is being shown in theaters across the region, and as reported by the media, it is breaking viewership records.
Milos Bikovic, who plays the main character Petr Maraš in the series and the film, stated that in the second season, he will also play actors from Russia.
"In the second season of the series, Russian stars will also appear. We will soon find out which actors will participate in this project and make it even better, better and bigger," said Biković, as reported by Serbian media.
