Comedy Central announced the release of the new, 25th season of the animated series "South Park", and the first episode will be broadcast already in February, reports NME magazine.
Following two stand-alone specials that aired in September 2020 and March 2021, which replaced the 24th season, this will be the first full series since 2019.
As announced, the author duo that make up Matt Stone i Trey Parker, will bring six new episodes on February 2, and the rest will be shown once a week after that.
Films that continue the action of the series were also released earlier, so the first one called "South Park: Post Covid", released in November 2021, showed Eric, Stan, Kyle and Kenny trying to adapt to a normal environment again, to the main characters in December in the framework of "South Park: Post COVID: The Return Of COVID" will also receive a futuristic version.
In that second film, the action takes place 40 years in the future, and the boys are shown as adults.
