Fallout fans have paid tribute to the recently deceased famous actor Matthew Perry. He lent his voice to Benny in “Fallout: New Vegas”.
While the actor is best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the 90s series "Friends", he also had notable roles in the films "Fools Rush In", "Almost Heroes", "Three To Tango", "17 Again", "The Whole Nine Yards” and “The Whole Ten Yards”.
His rich career was complemented by roles in the series "Ally McBeal", "The West Wing", "Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip", "The Odd Couple" and the 2021 special "Friends: The Reunion".
During Perry's entire life, he had a role in only one video game called “Fallout: New Vegas”, in which he lent his voice to the casino owner Benny.
It is known that Perry loved "Fallout 3", and he admitted on the Ellen DeGeneres show in 2009 that he had injured himself while playing the game.
"I was playing this video game so actively that I hurt my hand and had to go to the doctor to give me injections for pain... I loved this game so much," the actor said in an interview.
"That game is Fallout 3. I don't endorse it in the slightest, I just love it."
For fans of the game, Perry's performance as Benny is one of the highlights of the "Fallout: New Vegas" version. Therefore, after the announcement of the death of the famous actor, most fans of the game paid tribute to Perry on social networks.
"Hands down, his performance is the best in Fallout history," praised one.
Others quoted Swank, another Fallout character: "If I know my friend Matthew well, he's walking around with a big cat (a Fallout character) right now."
Friends fans began laying flowers for the late actor outside the Friends building in New York, and some celebrities from the entertainment industry expressed their condolences over the death of the icon Matthew Perry.
