The star of the popular HBO series "Euphoria" Eric Dane said that he is optimistic about the third season of this title, despite constant delays in filming and stories about conflicts in the team working on this project.
"It was supposed to happen in 2024, but we postponed it to 2025 and I'm optimistic, I'm convinced that the series will return to the small screens. The audience really wants that series and it's too good to just let everything go down the drain," he said. is a guest actor on the TV show "Today with Hoda & Jenna".
He pointed out that he was always convinced that Sam Levinson's work would be special, because "the script is spectacular."
HBO confirmed in March that filming of the third season was being delayed, due to the series' stars Sidney Sweeney, Zendaya and Maud Apatow not being able to find time in addition to their other projects.
However, insider stories have surfaced in the media claiming that Levinson's frustration with HBO's demand that he complete the script for a full season before filming is approved is behind the delay.
The delay was also affected by the writers' strikes, the tragic death of actor Angus Cloud in 2023, as well as producer Kevin Turen five months later, and Levinson experienced a disaster with the new series he had launched in the meantime, "The Idol", which was canceled after very poor reviews.
