Watch the trailer for "Iskra", a film by the young Montenegrin director Gojko Berkuljan

"A spark", the film directed by Gojko Berkuljan, will premiere on August 2, at the Kanli Tower, as part of the Herceg Novi Film Festival, starting at 21 p.m.

This is the first film of the young director from Cetinje, who also signed the script together with Ana Vujadinović.

The story follows retired inspector Petar and his daughter Iskra.

The monotony of retirement days is interrupted when Igor, a journalist and Iskra's colleague, informs him that Iskra has been gone for a few days. While working on an article, she borrowed Igor's car keys in a hurry and never returned. Nevertheless, the car is soon found in a cove next to a narrow and remote country road, but there is no sign of Iskra. Everything indicates that there was another person in the car with her. The search for Iskra begins and the investigation into the cause of Iskra's disappearance takes Peter far into his past.

The film stars Mirko Vlahović, Mladen Nelević, Jelena Simić, Aleksandar Gavranić, Zoran Vujović, Aleksandar Radulović, Mišo Obradović...

The music for the film is composed by the frontman of the Podgorica rock band Freedom, Rade Vukčević.
