In a new photo from the second season of the popular series "Wednesday", Džena Ortega is shown with a grumpy expression on her face and folded arms, while standing in front of a spooky Gothic gate.
This is the first official photo from the second season of the Netflix series, although a behind-the-scenes shot was previously released. The photo was released just after the end of production of the second season in Ireland. The premiere is planned for 2025.
"Wednesday" follows the eponymous girl during her time at Nevermore Academy, where her parents, Mortisha (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzman), first met 25 years ago. In the first season, Wednesday tried to master her psychic abilities while searching for a monster terrorizing the city.
According to Variety sources, pop star Lady Gaga will also appear in the new season.
Alfred Goff and Miles Millar are executive producers and screenwriters of the series, while Tim Barton is directing.
